On the 2001 and most F body cars they were know for having a bad wheel hop, My dad had a 2001 WS6 and it was really bad about it. When I mean wheel hop, I mean when you get on the gas and the rear end torques forward before the wheels catch and as soon as they do, you get a hopping off the back wheel. With the sold axel it was easy to solve but with independant suspension I am at a loss?? Is there anyway to solve this issue?

Gravana tuning makes a bushing kit that is supposed to reduce the wheel hop by about 80%. Check out there web site: Gravanatuning.com.

Traction control actually makes it better (in my case). I accidentally left it on one run and had very little wheel hop. It was also my fastest run on the day. But I could feel power being pulled from the motor big time in 1st and 2nd gear. So I know once I get my launch tech better it will be much faster without traction control.
I just need practice. My WRX/STi background has me all messed up. I need to learn how to ride out the clutch, something I never did in my STi.

If changing your driving style isn't the most palatable option, our cars are hurting for more rear spring and a stiffer rear swaybar. Stickier tires help too, the stock tires are geared more for long life than traction.
