Anyone know how much I would get on a trade in from an 04 gto to an 05? An 04 with 24k miles?

I estimate 15K.

That seems right to me, too. Based on the mileage, mainly. There are a lot of '04's out there with 2k to 10k miles going for near $20k if not lower. If you can sell it privately, you're much better off. The dealer will always low-ball you.

$15K is a little low, the black book which we use here at the dealership says that Rough is $18,500, Average is $20K and Clean is $22K. With that mileage you will probably fall somewhere closer to $18,500.

That sucks. Does anyone know anything about an extended warranty for the 04s after the car has been bought from the dealership?

The GM Protection Plan (GMPP) is available for purchase during the term of the original factory warranty.

Select your desired coverage and deductibles at:
http://www.gmprotectionplan.com/

Shop around for the best prices in your local area, since you'll have to take the vehicle in for any warranty work. However, GMPP work can be done at any authorized GM shop - just keep a copy of your GMPP handy in your glovebox.

GMPP is transferable to the next owner of the vehicle for an administrative fee of $30, I've been told.

:hysterical:

I call BS on that.

On another note, $15k wouldn't suprise me a bit on trade
