I've had my 05 Torrid/Black M6 for three weeks now, and I've noticed a squeak coming from the passenger window. When the window is fully raised, it makes a little noise over bumps and such. If I just barely tap the switch so the glass isn't jammed into the channel, it goes away. Has anyone else noticed this or had it checked by a dealer? I haven't decided yet just how much it bothers me.

It may not help (sure won't hurt) but I like to take Armor All (the regular non-glossy) and go over all exposed rubber and exterior plastic surfaces every few months. It contains both silicones and UV light blockers that retard degradation from solar radiation. See if it might stop the squeak. If not, you probably need to make an appointment with your body shop to get the doorglass adjusted.
Also, if you are standing around outside the car with the doors open, try to remember not to lean on the doorglass so it will keep that adjustment. In this case, you might educate your passengers, too. Sounds picky, but it can help.

I have/had a similar problem on my '04 GTO (when pass. side window is fully up, it rattles...it's quiet if you lower it a little.) I had a dealer adjust it once (their invoice said "window regulator hitting housing...repositioned window regulator"). Dunno if that is useful info or not. After that dealer service, the noise went away for a few weeks but it came back again. Some owners on other forums have complained of the same problem, even on the Commodore 4 door models. It's maddening to have these little problems on such a nice car.
One guy with the problem suggested that adjusting the window height position may help. There is a window stop bolt that can be used to adjust the maximum height of the window when it is fully open. So instead of having the window jam tightly into that weatherstripping on the top of the door, you can drop it by 1 mm or so and see if that helps reduce the noise. But if you drop it by too much, then the window will not seal. PM me if you want me to send you the instructions and pics he sent me...only tool needed is a hex wrench of the right size (metric) and the bolt is pretty easy to get to. The main risk (AFAIK) is that the bolt is very tight from the factory and you might strip the head trying to get it loose. So there is a little risk in doing it yourself--but I'm a little fed up with having to leave my car at a dealer for service.
I did the window adjustment on Friday, 2 days ago, and it has been quiet since then. But my rattle comes & goes anyway so I'll need to drive it more to be sure if it's fixed. I sure hope the window adjustment does the trick. I can't guarantee that it will work.
