I don't have a GTO yet and was wondering if the rear seat is removable? Also, how much does it weigh? Just thinking about doing this before I head to the track.

While I dont know a car that doesn't have a removable rear seat, I have never done it.

Yes it does. There are two t handles under the seat cushin. Acutallly they are sticking out a little. Pull those <there is one on either side.> Then Pull up and out. For the back rest there are two bolts ?10-11mm? you remove for the back rest.
