Quick question, what would be a monderatly safe amount of NOS to shoot in the LS1 GTO? The guy at the performance shot told me he's been spray'n 175 shot in his LS1 car for years. To me that seems like an awful lot for a dry shot. If you all think it can handle it let me know, if not let me know what your limit is.

150 without suporting mods would be as far as I would take it.

Better read up on this one...I am not sure I would even go 150 unless AT MINIMUM colder plugs.

I think there's a smaller shot (dry)...like 75-80 called a sneaky peak or something like that. The bottle is mounted underneath the driver seat.

Continually spraying with a dry shot is a good way to weld your pistons to the cylinder walls. If you want the engine to live for a while, stay with a 125 wet shot or lower.

I don't plan on a continuous spray, I was thinking a 125 or 150 shot, shooting for about 5 second once in 3rd gear for some extra get up and go. Would that work and not hurt the engine?
