I just got our '05 GTO last month with auto trans and can't get the revs up on take off while holding the brakes and reving the motor. I have had 95 LT1 Z-28 and 87 turbo Grand National. This technique always worked on those cars. Traction control is off. This car is the strongest of the 3 in stock condition, but doesn't have the takeoff from a dead stop. Very little wheel spin. We love this car, but it's my wifes everyday driver. I have to beg to get a turn at the wheel. :P

My bad! I just found out that traction control has to be turned off every time the car is started. My past vehicles had t/c that had to be turned on, not turned off. This car will light em up big time. I looove this car.
