I go to school with a guy that owns sed Camaro. I started talking to him trying to find out what his car runs and all the mods he has done to when it dawns on me, I have to race him. Found out that he has all the run of the mill things to make your 69 350 fast; heads, cam, and 11.0 compression. After class was over I went out and waited for him to show up so we could get the test started. I wanted to race stoplight to stoplight so he could have the advantage and I could gauge how fast my 1/4 mile time would be, he wasn't too comfortable with that so we headed out to the 110 and start from about 45, honk 3 times and go. He would always get the jump on me to begin with but I would pull way ahead once we hit about 60. His main problem was that he had a 3 speed auto and 4 10 gears. A fun kill but not very fair in my opinion.

ouch , I ran a hoppe dup 69 Fastback stang that was the same way, hopped up with 3.90s and a 3 speed. It was close decent, only pulled a car or two to 40, but after that it was a slaughter like none other.

2 car lengths ahead of someone at only 40mph already IS a slaughter :D
