at around 5500 Miles I changed oil and put in redline synthetic.. At 7800 the oil light came on and won't go off. I thouht I reset it when I changed the oil but I'm not sure now. Because I have done what the manual say's several times, but oil light stays on. I thought redline was suppose to last a little longer than 2300 miles?
The oil does look dirty so I'm changing it tomorrow, back to mobil 1, just to be safe

Double check that you are doing the reset properly. If so, you may have a problem with the ECM.

Also, it isn't a good idea to change brands of oil. Find a good one (GM spec is a must) and stick with it. I don't know if Redline meets the GM specs for the LS2 or not, if so, stay with it.
