My wife and I will be taking the Goat up to San Antonio next Saturday morning Apr 30th. Anyone want to meet up? B)

I've never been there so if you know a good place I'm open for suggestions.

I just got back from Houston on the 23rd, so im not really in a driving mood, but its a great drive, if you wanna go a bit farther you can take highway 35 straight from San an, to Austin. Its a great city if you want to see some live music.

Yeah, if you made it to Austin, I'd take a drive down there. Also are a few other members in Austin.

How much further up is Austin from SA?

Thats hard to answer exactly, SA and Austin are LONG cities South to North.
Probably about 1:15 further to downtown Austin.

Watch this post I'll get you a great mexican restaurant in downtown SA. I ate there once but can't remember the name. Some people at work know it well.

By the way are you enjoying the food down here? Don't get fed like that in Michigan.

Depends on when you go, and how fast you go. People have made the trip in 45 minutes at certain times doing 80-90MPH the whole time. Just watch out for the local law enforments.

The name of the restaurant is mi tierra. Its in market square. Everyone I know who has gone there thinks it's great. The river walk is a must if you go to SA, Howl at the Moon is pretty cool bar.

Awsome...thanks. All my friends who have been there before were also saying that the riverwalk is a must.
