I have an 05 manual gto and it has about 5500 miles on it. The shift knob for the past 1000 miles has been rattling under normal acceleration. I took it to the dealership but they said they can't fix it. I don't understand how they can't fix it. Anybody else have similar issues or know a solution?? It is getting SOOOO annoying. :jumpon:

no its not like that by rattle i mean like i hear a nut shaking underneath of the knob, not like the feel of it. I know what it is supposed to feel like but it sounds like a loose knob. The clutch was also making weird noises like what a normal clutch sounds like when it is going out... the dealership said it is just the way the spine is cut that is making it sound like that, personnally i call :bs: but whatever. Come to think of it they did say that the noise from the shifter has been a problem but they can't fix it, might this be something worse? :unsure:
