I just got my 05 midnight blue goat last friday.. 2 minutes off the lot i pull to a red light..
to my right pulls this bright red stang.. i noticed it was a v6 because it didnt have the fog lamps so i just disregarded it .. i start to drive not accelerating fast not even expecting this guy to step to my new ride.. im enjoying the drive when the stang floors it .. and im just like.. are you serious? I had just test driven one of those before i bought the goat so i knew what this guy was runnin. I simply ease on the pedal keeping up with him for a second.. smiled and i floored it.... he gave up and planted the best dissapointed face ive ever seen, guess he thought it was worth a shot ahah ..

on the drive back from florida to queens NY where i live im driving on the belt parkway during rush hour = major traffic.. this bright yellow vw ricewagon is riding my a** in traffic reving his trash can.. traffic let up a little and there was a clear space in the left lane.. i never saw that kubelwagon again.

Im lovin my goat havent had any let downs but im sure ill run into somebody soon with a heavy modded sub or smoething.. i live close to long island and a lotta people got a **** load of money to drop into there cars...
as for me the goat cleaned me out im gonna work my a** off this summer and maybe get a cai or some new headers.. any mods you guys recommend? B) B)

It's been said before, but bears another repeat. There are two kinds of people out there. Those who "know" and those who don't have a clue.

I've had a couple of people who are otherwise pretty savy car people stand with their mouths open in awe of the wall to wall V8 under the hood of my 05. I've also had a few who simply said "oh, so that's what the new GTO looks like". And then there's those who think it's a GrandAm (mostly Stang herders) who like to blow me away at stop lights. I let most of 'em go. Gotta keep 'em happy with their outdated steeds. Then the middle age pickup drivers who think that big V8 is quick (mostly hemi heads). Haven't had much around here to waste fuel on. :lol:

Maybe ill get a supercharger just to make sure i can turn any pony into horse meat what do you guys thing anybody put one on?
