What are the largest Drag radials that can be put on the stock GTO wheel? Discount tire told me that a 275 BF Goodrich will rub because the car squats too much on the launch, but said a 275 Nitto probably will fit because they tent to be a little smaller even though they are ratted at the same size. Is this true? Has any one done a drag on their GTO yet and what size will fit? If this is true it looks like I am leaning towards the 245 Nitto which is the factory replacement size. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

D

275's are too big on the factory wheels(they will rub all the time, not just on launch) 245's are the way to go. nitto or the new mickey thompson drag radial-they are awesome!..275's will work if you get a +55 offset or greater..custom wheels($$$$)

I ried they BF Goodrich drags last night in a 275. I had to prove it to my self. They were to wide and would definatly rub if you hit the right bump. I'm going with the Nitto 245/45/17's.

275 Nittos fit perfect and don't rub at all. Any other 275 will rub.

Diddo, I have Nitto drag radials on my 05 GTO. They work perfect. No rubbing.
