Hello i have had my eye on the GTO for a while i am trying to figure out when everyone thinks that the incentives will be at there best, i have heard august is probably a good deal. At this time i am kind of stuck so i need all the incentives that i can get. My ex wife stuck me with the 2005 focus and i owe 15k on it still so i will be starting in the hole i am even looking at the 2004 so i can get a good deal this car is realy what i want. i would love Black with red leather if anyone knows one that i can get a good deal on let me know. Also any information available on future rebates would be healpfull.
Thank you

I have found a dealer around here that is advertising that they will sell for bellow dealer invoice do you think that this would be a good time for me to jump on it or do you think that they will actualy come down even further?i also found a 2004 GTO with 500 miles they are saying that it is new but with 500 miles do you think that would be a good deal i am sure that the people that have already test drove it have probably torn it up?

They are offering employee pricing through July 5th. (Need to take delivery by July 5th) Depending on options, price for a 2005 should be in the mid $29k to low $30k range. They have started the big incentives much earlier on the 2005s than they did on the 2004s though, and if you remember the incentives reached $5000 cash back + other add on incentives (GM card round up, $1500 dealer cash) at the same time (that was last November).
Follows is my opinion (others will disagree, I'm sure) but I would expect the incentives will continue into July and August (may not be employee pricing anymore, but should offer similar rebates I would guess). Using last years incentives as a reference, I would say you best deals would start in September.
If you want to wait to November, December for your best price you might have more trouble finding exactly what you want.
Now for the advice you didn't ask for ... if you still owe $15k on a focus, I (personally) would not be looking at a new GTO (or even a used 2004). I'd pay down the focus and wait until your more fiscally secure. If you can't wait and have to have a performance car now, then I'd look into finding a low mileage LS1 Camaro/Trans Am. I don't believe in going into huge debt on a car, when they lose their value so quickly. Just me.
