Was driving down the road with my wife today and all of a sudden the panel behind the drivers seat simply falls off. “ZERO” cool points. It turns out that both fasteners holding the **** thing on just broke off. With yet another trip to the service department to find out that the clips are out of stock and must be ordered. I believe I can repair the original clips and get the cover back on for the time being.
Don’t get me wrong I love the style and the power of the GTO, but it just makes me wonder at 4000 miles simple things like panel clips should not be falling apart. Hell I’ve had cars well over 20 years old and besides a few squeaks here and there it’s not falling apart. I just wonder what next…..
