I have a smell when I get out of the car, I think it is from the exhaust. It is sort of that same burnt smell from hot brakes or clutch. I mainly smell it at the rear of the car, and I think my trucks exhaust made the smell when I put the cat back on it. I just am making sure it is normal, and that it could be the exhaust. If it doesn't go away or fade soon I may have the dealer check it out.

It is probably just manufacturing residue burning off. For the first week I had my GTO it had a very strong burnt oil odor after I had gotten it nice and warm. It has been slowly fading ever since and is almost gone now, even if I get it really hot I barely notice it now.

Same here---it goes away after awhile.
