im about 14k and i was wondering if im due for some spark plugs. a performance enthusiast buddy of mine told me only to buy quadraplate platinum plugs. reasons being better power, better fuel economy. what do you guys think? are they worth the extra bucks?

Probably not, but it might be worth a shot.

you shouldn't have to replace your spark plugs until you hit the 100k mark. Reason being is 'cause you already have platinum plugs from the factory.

If I recall, on the LS2, plug change interval is 25,000 miles. I'll go look it up to be sure.

Hummm...My maintenance schedule says 100K or 7/12/2009...whichever comes first. That's for my 2005 purchased this last June.
