My father bought the car new back in Dec of 04. He owned it for 5 months, until he needed something to be able to tow a trailer, and was easier to get the kids in and out of.
So, I told him I would take it. I've owned it since June.
The car is 100% stock, and has never had any mods (excpet for a few "GTO" stickers - see the pics). I've only done oil changes with Mobil 1 since I've owned it, and I believe my parents did the same. The car has gone in once for warranty work. The front brakes started squeeking at 6,000 miles. They replaced both front brake pads.
Reason for selling: It's honestly more then I want to afford at this time. I can do it, but I don't want to be working to afford the car. I have other bills that I should pay off. I was just trying to help out my dad and ended up hurting myself.
It's a 2004 Yellow Jacket with a 6spd (1 of 1,014).
I am currently leasing the car. Here's all the lease info:
Monthly Payment: $323.63
Miles allowed: 30,206 (currently it has 9,100)
End of lease: Dec 17th 2006 (16 months left)
Current payoff: $25,000.53 (a bit less then that).
Payoff at end of lease: $21,077.80
There is a $600 dollar fee to tranfers the lease to one ower to the next. I am offering to split that with you. If you need to ship it, that is your cost to cover.
To change the lease is very simple. I call GMAC and tell them you want to take over my lease, and they send you the paper work to get you approved (no money is due at that time). Fill it out and send it back to them. Once you get approved, they make sure my account is in good standings (no late fee's, and payments up to date). Once that happens, We pay the $600 and they send you the title and all the goodies you need overnight, and I give you the keys that day. It took them less then 7 days to send me all I needed when I bought it from my dad. Very very simple process.

I ran the car at the track, but could only best a time of 14.2 @ 98mph (I'm a track newbie).
