I am getting there. Just got back from ETown - only 2 runs (had to do some work for the inlaws). What a day 45-50 degress - only problem was a cross wind of 10-15mph - made the top end a little interesting during one gust.

Best prior time 13.57 - done last fall. Now 13.364 @ 104.77 - but that was not the best part. 2nd run only 13.42 @ 105.17 - but that was with major wheel hop - that would have been a high 13.2 run if the hop didn't show up.

Street tires where @ 30psi, 3/8ths tank of 93 octane & spare in. Total race weight was 3926, RWTD Tune, Koni's out back, Shanner S1 TB, poly X member bushings, stock air box w/2nd hole & 300 KW HSV tube - thats it.

Incrementals where:

R/t -.038, .010
60ft - 2.057, 2.183
330ft - 5.697, 5.794
1/8th ET - 8.647, 8.729
1/8th mph - 83.36, 83.80
1000ft - 11.209, 11.276
1/4 ET - 13.364, 13.420
1/4 Mph - 104.77, 105.17

Forgot to put in - this is an A4 car - not an M6

2005 I take it?

Those would be some sweet numbers for an 04 automatic. ;)

Thanks Orbit

I wish I had an 05 - nope only an 04. This car has a 13.2 in it - just needs a good driver :D

excellent. you A4 guys got it easy :) working that clutch is a b*tch on the track. i think my car has a 12 in it with DRs. getting the power to the ground is the tough part. i have to wait now 'til next spring :(

Glad to see those are 2004 times. :)

Way to represent for us 04/A4 guys. Wish I had a good 1/4 mile track closer than 100 miles away. :)

Nah - it ain't that easy - at least with a clutch you can manage your take off - the A4 is too impresice (power braking is a no no with these cars - unless you enjoy the hop). Granted once I get going - the A4 is easier the rest of the way.

By the way that is one hellavue 60ft time on stock tires. The best I ever got was 2.019 - I would kill for a sub 2 - great job. What tire pressure did you use?

Thanks - us 04/A4's gotta stick together.

Can't wait to see the 05 & 06 A4's get their TM fixed. They are going to be animals once the computer side is worked out. Would love to know what they changed on the 05's tranny to make them so quick.

Next year - when mine is out of warranty - I think I am going to change the valve body & torque converter. Should help a lot - especially with new tires (mine are almost shot now with only 8K on them :D )

One of the best parts for me is that I live only 30 minutes from ETown. So I am always up there - racing or spectating. We are so close my son who is 19 - has seen almost every NHRA national at Etown since he was 3 years old. I promised him that next year - he could run the goat a few times.

Must be nice, the only 1/4 mile near me is a 3 hour drive in either direction.

Yo phil,
Etown is in my near future, I've been there for the last 3 nationals. Just got my '06 M6. Blew an outer CV in less than 600 miles! stupid crazy wheel hop. I've been looking for GTO clubs in this area, but nope, nobody. my first mods are gonna be rear cradle bushing, sway bars, then springs and shocks. this beast makes awesome power, just gotta transfer it to the asphalt!

A4 FTW!

With a set of BFG DR's, I'm hoping for high 12's when Atco opens (and they get some rubber on the track)
