hey there guys, i found this site called SLP performance.com and they sell a lot of their own manufactures parts for the GTO LS1 and LS2, and i was wondering would you guys trust putting a higher performance cam shaft, cylinder heads, or would you keep them stock? i dont know much about this but im wondering would any of you consider it? also are roller rocker arms better? my cousin tells me they can easily screw you over from the way they are installed

Many people have used SLP parts before, and many more have done cam/head swaps for their cars with positive results.
Roller rockers will give you more performance, but anything can easily screw you over if they arn't installed properlly. They won't harm the car more than any other mod if they are used correctly.

There are typically 2 schools of thought to increasing the output of the motor. What is right for you is how you are going to use it.
1. Head/Cam aka "all motor" which is sometimes enhanced for the 1/4 mile with N2O.
2. Forced induction (supercharging or turbocharging)
Head/cam range from mild/streetable to wild/track only, but most forced induction setups are equally at home as a daily driver or track car but may sacrifice some hardcore power for daily reliability. Depends on what you want the car to do for you. Mine isn't a dd but I want it to act like one so I'm going Supercharged http://www.magnacharger.com
