Ok guys. Ive been doing some driving and picking out a good cruise for us Santa Clarita goats and anyone else who wants to come.
Its going to meet Saturday January 7th at 9:00am and be leaving at 9:30. The meeting spot is the parking lot of the Santa Clarita chilies. The address is:

From there we will head north on I5 for a few miles, and get off at the Parker Road exit in Castiac. We will then get on Lake Hughes road which will take us up past Castiac lake into the mountains and proceed through the mountains with some great curves and good speed.
We will stay on Lake Hughes road until we reach Lake Elizabeth road on which we will make a right. This will take us through a small town or two and if we want we can stop at Lake Elizabeth for pictures. From there we will get back onto Lake Elizabeth road and make our way a little further to San Fransisquito Canyon road. This is a pretty nice road for good speed with long sweeping turns.
Then we can either come back on San Fransisquito or do what I did tonight (because it was late and the road was closed) take Spunky Dr which is a great twisting mountain road with lots of tight corners and meet up with Bouquet Canyon Road, on which we will make a right and that is another nice twisty road that will take us back into Santa Clarita.
I figure we can then meet back up at Chilies and have lunch, though where we have lunch is open to suggestions.
I did the cruise tonight while it was dark just looking for the best way to take. it was a fun drive and had a great mix of road types, from really tight turns to long sweeping curves. It should be a blast.
I will have full directions to hand out at the meet. Below is a sign up. Please just copy the current sign up roster and paste it into your post, adding your name of course.
Everyone is invited, so if your from the Valley, or Ventura or where ever, and you want to come, sign on up! The Chilies is easy to get to as its literally right off the 5 freeway at the Mcbean exit.
