i have a cadillac eldorado touring coupe 2001..i really love it but its getting up there in mileage and i was thinking of checking out the GTO and maybe making a trade...i have always drove large coupes like the cougar, lincoln mark, riviera and eldorado..now there is not much to choose from..i would like to know from owners of the GTO if you think i would be happy with one?? i know we are talking about two completely differant types of cars but i am very curious about the GTO and will probably take a test spin in one...thanks

I too like large cars being 6'4" tall . I drove a t birds before the gto . I am very happy with the performance and comfort of the car.The stereo needs a bit more juice and is somewhat difficult to upgrade in some respects. The gas mileage is not too bad for a 400 hp car.as a matter of fact it pretty close to my v8 t bird . rear seat access is not very good so if you have riders back there often then this may not be the car for you.The other thing is this car is very bad in the snow (on the stock tires at least .I got some snow tires coming in this week).
Its a great sleeper and most people dont look as your coming at them but look in the rearveiw and see thier heads swivel around. This car may cause you speeding tickets because its very difficult to keep youself from going fast. The car begs for speed itll do 135mph with out any difficulty and still want more.going from my t bird to this car I have to keep a close eye on the speedometer because the power and gearing makes you feel like the car is barely moving at 75 mph

I think you would be quite comfortable in one, its large but isn't near as soft a car as the old caddies. Its a good amount more sporty than some of the cars you listed but still retains a good level of luxery. Try one and I think you will love it.
