Well I am 24 hours into the ownership experience and the **** trunk won't close! I drove to Atlanta from Dallas, TX and everything was great. Get to my brothers to unpack and the **** thing won't open right. Now it won't close.

The latch on the decklid appears to be working correctly. I think it has something to do with the angle of the receptacle or the trunk lid alignment.

Bad thing is I am out of town and can't get it back to the dealer. The drive back to Dallas from Atlanta should be fun with a trunk that won't close!

Po'd big time! I loved my SS and never had one problem with it!

Well my brother and I spent an hour and a half messing around with it. We put him in the trunk with a flashlight to see what was going on. After moving the receptacle a few times it no works!

Into the dealer when I get home to make sure all is well.

Onto the positive, thi car kicks butt. Great highway ride with true muscle car performance and then some!

EASY FIX I HAD THE SAME THING! sorry cap locked . if you look at the part the trunk goes into theres a u shaped peice of metal with a nut in the middle of it. just losen it and raise it or drop it until the trunk locks. you might have to do this a couple of times. then tighten it,

That must have been your "little brother" if you were able to fit him in the trunk. Mine closes/locks fine, but takes several tries to get it open.
