Im looking at upgradeing some stuff on my A4 05, heres the list of possibilities

Exhaust
Tires
Sound system


I have a sports package on my 05 so i got duel exhaust with 4 tips, or however youd like to put it. I WANT TO KEEP THAT LOOK.
That my biggest priority in that part, but I want something a bit louder than stock, even though it sounds great already.

I have the 18in package or whatever 05s could get, was already on the goat when my dealer found her and I said Id take it since black/black a4's were so hard to find with sports packages.
Tires, im only ganna upgrade if someone can convince me to switch to something that will increase performance/traction and such. But I want to know if I did get drag radial tires, what are side effects , as in how do they work in rain, and normal driving. Do they wear alot faster, and so forth. And if I did go new tires, would I have to get new rims.


If anyone has any suggestions on soundsystems that would make my day, but i do have some friends who know alot and would be glad to help me out.


p.s. does the 05 goat have HD digital already in it? My favorite rock station recently upgraded and are saying they are compatible.

If you want to do something to the exhaust system to make it a little louder put Headers on and you will get a louder sound and with a tune some gained HP. You can get long Tube Headers and Highflow cats and keep the rest of your exhaust in place i.e. Dual tip exhaust tips.

As for Drag Radials yes they wear out much faster and when the tread gets low they are no good in the rain. I put 18x8's in the front with 18x9's in the rear. Wider rear tire gives it a more aggressive look. I am running Toyo Proxies which have pretty good tread wear and grip.

Stereos? I haven't upgraded mine yet. To busy gaining HP for the Motor.

Would headers void the general warranty?

And could you link me to the site if you bought the tires off the web? And if not do you remember the total you paid for both sets.
