First off, welcome to the board. :)

About launching, you'll have to vary your rpm's at launch to find where your Goat likes it.

Messing around when I've made a few G-Tech runs out on some local roads I'll BT to around 1500 to 1700 in my '04. Anything over that and on the street my stock tires will just break loose. I'd assume at the track with a good sticky prep you could run that higher to at least 2000 or a little more depending on the conditions. I'm assuming you are going there all stock. Of course this all changes if you are running DR's, change your torque converter, or gears or start adding power.

I have a feeling if you launch anything over 2500 you will get the dreaded wheel hop if you are stock on stock tires. Who knows, give it a try and see what happens. I'll let our track hounds follow up on this. :)

I'm still haven't got it perfect yet, but I BT at about 1500-1700 and let off the brake and count to 2. By 2 you should be at WOT(pedal to the metal!). I seem to get good results, but it also depends on temp. and road conditions. And I've been getting mixed results with leaving it in drive or manually shifting.
What ever the case, its still a load of fun!:D

I rev it up between 3,200-3,400 and let go of the clutch. Sucker grabs like you wouldn't believe. Oh yeah, you better go get some street drags before you that!!! Before I bought those tires I did the 1500-1700 thing.

Try putting a sticky tire on the car.
