Second could anyone recommend some settings for a A4 with a K&N intake as the only mod? [please be thourough].
If you want msg me on aim at sh4ne06
or msn at sefis17@hotmail.com
email me at the above too, really would appreciate some GOOD advice on this as I have no clue.
LA_Phantom 03-02-2006, 07:38 AM I am still considering the Predator. Please let us know your experience.

I'm curious as to how the car feels after getting rid of torque management. I've seen discussions of theories on this and of it's effects on other models of LS2 equipped vehicles, but I want to know about the results on a real, live LS2 GTO.
SammyP 04-23-2006, 03:32 PM I wouldn't void warranty would by getting a programmer would I, it makes you able to change back to stock right?
gto n 442 04-23-2006, 06:05 PM it will void the warranty. however you can change the settings back to factory stock if need be. I dont think there would be any way to check and see if someone has been changing parameters but Im not possitive about that.
JJay374 05-01-2006, 10:26 PM I had one for my mustang...yes I said mustang..lol, And I was able to change from one tune to the other (stock back to tune)
Silver Goat 05-02-2006, 07:24 AM Does anyone know if the programmer can remove it?

Yes, I believe that the Predator can remove the elctronic speed limiter.

Like to see what she'll do....But just once!
gto n 442 05-03-2006, 07:46 PM for god sakes be careful at those speeds anything in the road could cause a fatality. at 160+mph the car would disintigrate in a roll.

Yeah, I agree......I should "act my age"!
mechanic58 05-07-2006, 01:57 PM lol...I have piloted mine above 150 a couple a times....for the life of me, I can't think of ONE reasonable excuse for going that fast, other than complete insanity. lol.

If I recall my research correctly, the Predator is capable of removing the skip shift.

If a skip shift eliminator is all you're looking for, this is an economical way to do it:

If you want to do it in a really el cheapo manner, you could do this, but as the article points out, your dealer could probably pick up on it:
