Is there a way to disable the DRLs? I'd just like the option of turning off my lights when I want to.

You'll have to pull the DRL fuse in the fusebox under the hood. Check your owner's manual to find out which one it is. I pulled mine months ago in my '04.

I'll give it a try. I ordered the factory Shop Manual(s) last week so I should be able to help answer some questions in the future. BTW, I've got a GM parts Guru that can get parts at his cost + 10% plus shipping from Ohio. I've dealt with him for years and he is usually half the price of the local dealers. He's been dealing with the Impala and vette folks for some time and is happy to support the GTO folks. Let me know and I'll give you his info.
