I just traded in my Ford Lightning, and got the 05 GTO and im looking to put rims on it. Im wanting to get a decent sized lip, but not sure what would be best. I was thinking getting 18's in the front and 19s in the back, how would that work? And what would be the best tires to put on there, im wanting to make my back tires wider. Let me know what you guys think, Im just guessing here.

Check out the thread titled "18 inch wheels???" in the Appearance/Ground Effects/Mods section. A lot of good info there. I have 17" wheels on the front and 18" wheels on the rear. I like the staggered look. I was a bit concerned about going with 18's in the front and 19's in the rear because some people have said the ride quality really suffers with 19 inch wheels. I'm very happy with my choice.

one inch can make a difference beyond factory standard size, the bigger your rim goes the more rpms your gonna take to spin that wheel and cost you more gas
