Do any of you guys use synthetics in your rides? That's all I had in my Cobra. Another question daytime driving lights on our Goats, do we have them? If yes can they be turned off? If not do you know of a rewire to get rid of them... and while we're on it how about the fogs are they independent of the headlights? Is there a rewire fix for that? I don't take delivery on my new Goat until next week .

I personally do not use synthetic oil. It does have its advantages, but I think they are negligible, especially if you're in the habit of changing your oil every 3,000 miles. Just my opinion. Now, for your DRL's....under the hood on the passenger's side inner fender there is a relay panel. Open it up and read the relay map in the inside of it. Find the relay labeled "DRL" and remove. Put it in your glove box for safe keeping. Your DRL's will no longer function, but you will still get the DRL indicator on your guage cluster.

I use royal purple now in my Goat, and just found out about Red Line Water Wetter. Those are the only two I use

As far as engine oil is concerned, I am using the Mobil 1 5W30 as per the recommendations on the oil fill cap. I believe that Mechanic58 is correct relative to his directions to eliminate the daytime running lights. I have not come across any other fix for this that I can recall.

I use Mobil 1 5w30 in mine also but I only put 5qts in then top it off with Lucas.
