Does anyone know someone's e-mail @ Holden to get the production number of my GTO? I asked GM here in the states, but they could not help me. Told me to try and contact someone @ Holden and ask them. They said the possibility of them signing off the production number for the car maybe slim to none. Just curious,Thanks.

Try Holden's website first and see if there is a contact number there.

We advise that we do not record production numbers of our vehicles, and as such, this information is not available for any of our products.
However, in addition to this, we do not keep record of our export vehicles, and as such, cannot offer any information pertaining to your Pontiac.
Yours sincerely,

Do the GTO's have a VIN number on them anywhere?
Below is an example of the type of information that can be extrapolated from a VIN code
VIN: 6H8VRK19HSL768159
6 = Australia
H8 = Holden
VR = VR or VRII Series
K = Commodore
19 = Sedan 4 Door
H = 3.8 Litre Fuel Injection Petrol
S= 1994 or 1995
L768159 = Build number
Dunno if that answers your question or not....you think Holden would be able to tell you something though
