What are you folks with the G-Techs setting the pitch factor at?

My car is around the 600HP mark now on the dyno and the G-Tech said 457HP but I was only able to do 1st, 2nd and very little 3rd and I only did one run because my shifter broke going in to 3rd.
If you run it all that way through the quarter will it read everything else?
It didn't give me torque at all. Was that because I never hooked up? Her a** was all over the place.

Got to talk to my little brother about that and the lack of rubber on the back now. He took his GF out to dinner (and some racing looks like) in my car last week.

I figured it out.

Lets see if I can load these pics.

G-Tech assumes that you have no tire spin at all.

See pic...... ;-)

That would do it.

I will have the relay this information to my brother-in-law. He has a G-Tech that he has never used, and wanted me to try it out so that we could get an idea of its accuracy. Now that I am back home, I guess the test will have to wait.

Does your G-Tech measure flywheel or rear wheel HP?

If it's RWHP then 457/80% = 571 HP, pretty close to your 600 fwhp. (A hot day and wheelspin could explain those numbers.

I've never used my G-Tech for the HP function, only for 0-60, quarter mile, braking and G-forces. I'd go with your dyno numbers, you are getting to a point where the HP function probably won't give you a true reading due to all the wheelspin. Go get a quarter mile time and I think you'll see that your HP is up there. :)
