Wet vs. DryLA_Phantom 08-04-2006, 07:31 PM What are the advantages/disadvantages of using a wet or dry shot of nitrous? -K scot254 08-04-2006, 08:46 PM Many people are concerned for safety, I think it's a toss up on that part. Some people think dry is safer, some wet. Here are the 2 main advantages as I see them. Dry kit: easier to hide, probably easier to install Wet Kit: bigger HP shot potential, usually more TQ output than dry LA_Phantom 08-04-2006, 11:18 PM Thanks for the information...torque is a good thing. :D -K superduperhoots 02-16-2007, 11:42 PM Wet kit also lessens the chance of running lean versus using dry shot. The wet kit is fed with the fuel as opposed to the dry shot - feeding through the intake manifold. I'd go with wet :D -Hoots mpurti02 10-23-2008, 05:01 PM definitly go wet - its much healthier for your motor mechanic58 10-23-2008, 08:06 PM Never cared much for nitrous, but check THIS out: http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l247/BigRedGoat/GTO%20Teardown/WebJunk/TitsGTFO.jpg | |
