If you go to our site under GTO>intake you'll see the UniFilter cold-air intake. Independent magazine testing in Australia showed a 13-14rwhp gain and 17-20ft. lbs. on the 270 hp Monaro. Our normal retail on this kit will be $239.99 + $39.99 for the optional cold-air box that completely blocks the intake from the rest of the engine compartment. ***(dyno results were WITHOUT the cold-air box as it was not developed prior to testing)***. Until November 10th we will sell up to 30 units for $211.99. The optional cold-air box will be $34.99.

Want a cold-air intake for free? Once we reach 15 pre-orders we will randomly select one of the 15 customers to recieve their cold-air intake (not including cold-air box [$239.99 value]) for FREE. Then IF we reach 30 pre-orders we will randomly select one additional customer from the total 30 to also get their intake for free! That means you double your chances if you're one of the first 15, so tell all your friends. After Nov. 10th or the first 30 sell, the price will be $239.99 and $39.99 for the optional box. That means you're saving yourself up to $33.00 AND getting up to 2 chances to win your cold-air intake for free.

Only one win per customer. Shipping not included.

I am a neophyte on this stuff so pardon my dumb questions. I looked at the picture on the MASC website. Is it the red bits? How easy to install?

:D

Unfortunately our installed pic is on a vehicle with aftermarket red covers in place of the stock GTO covers. The cold-air intake replaces the factory airfilter box and piping up to the throttle body with the exception of the Mass Air Flow sensor. We'll have some more pics up by week's end of the rest of the intake system. Right now it's off getting photos taken for a magazine. The only "red" part of the CAI is the foam filter element itself. While there are other colors available, this is by far the highest flowing color of the foam....matching that of a K&N ® filter element.

As for the installation, the only thing you'll need is a screw driver and a few sockets. The factory box is held in place by a few bolts and the aftermarket replacement uses the factory holes to bolt in. The brackets included w/ the system are adjustable so that the intake could work with slight variations in the Australian models pending their build date, AC system, and engine.

Once we recieve our GTO we'll play with the air intake setup; however, according to all of our Australian resources there is not. On top of that, the area where it is actually is very well ventilated for being under the hood
