Hey guys I just wanted to let you know some interesting information on the GTO. I just received my product guide info for the 04 GTO. The weight of the car is going to be 3725 with an automatic and 3725 with the 6-speed they still say the weight numbers are estimated. The car is going to have an 18 gallon tank. It will have 225/50R17 Tires. The motor is going to be rated at 350 hp and 365 lb/ft torque. The overall length of the car is 189.80 inches. The wheelbase is 109.80 inches. Just thought you guys would like the numbers.

This is old news. Jim Hopson/Pontiac already confirmed that the GTO would have 245/45ZR17 BF Goodrich gforce kdws tires.

We have had it on pretty good word however that the tires will be 245/45ZR17. That will be disappointing if they are the 225's.

I'm sure that the product guide went to the printer before the tire change was made. I used to work on Chevrolet Product guides and we had them done and printed a couple months before they were sent to the dealer body.
If that is the case that is awesome and I am sorry for printing old info. I just thought it was interesting.

i have the same size tires on my mustang GT, and ****, those babies are EXPENSIVE!!! its a shame cuz i simply can't afford to really lay the rubber down to the pathement when it costs nearly $1,000 for new paws on all four wheels for a good set. :(
