So there I am minding my own business and I see that I have received an email from BRMike. If you are not aware, he has some new 18" ROH Vapors sitting in his closet waiting for tires. Well, the emails fly back and forth and I come up with a fantastic idea. Since I already have the 18" tires on my car, I suggested that BRMike allow me to mount my 18" tires on his 18" wheels, then I would put the tires/wheels combination on my car so that he could get an idea as to how they will look in person on his car in a couple of years from now. We all know that often a picture does not do justice to the final product of an appearance mod. Additionally, I told him that I did not think that we was going to like the looks of the new wheels on his GTO. Should it turn out that I am correct, I offered to give him $50 per wheel so that he would not be stuck with wheels he did not want with no means to recoupe at least a portion of what he spent on them. Please realize that I would not make this offer to just anyone, but BRMike is a good guy and I don't mind helping out where I can. :P

That's was a mighty tempting offer, but after much thought, I've decided to leave them in the closet for now. Hopefully, I'll only have to wait a couple more months.

Or, if everyone would like to pitch in on a set of tires as a "Happy Birthday" for me turning the big 3-0 on November 8th! That would be fine with me.
