"Maximum" Bob Lutz appears bullish on Holden's new VE Commodore SS-V, calling it "a magic vehicle" after driving it just once, according to Australia's Drive.com.au. That bodes well for the car becoming integrated into GM's North American line -- possibly as a replacement for the Pontiac Grand Prix -- something Holden boss Denny Mooney would give his eyeteeth and a case of wallaby for.


"I thought the car was an extreme pleasure to drive," Lutz wrote. "Compliant, yet very, very responsive. Excellent steering feel and weight, very neutral handling, with neither limit understeer nor limit oversteer in evidence. This car redefines "neutral".

"It seems never to be caught off balance, no matter what the driver does in terms of messing up the entry to the corner. The car seems to say 'I've never seen it done this way before, but, OK, I can handle it!'.

"It's a magic vehicle.

"And I also congratulate GMH on the interior gloss and grain, as well as switch gear feel and quality. We've improved a lot in the US, but this is still way, way better."

Dont worry, I dont know what that means either.

Eyeteeth are the four upper and lower canine, or eye, teeth. The eyeteeth are those teeth that are directly under the eye and are long, pointed canines

But I can see how one might value their "eyeteeth"

Case of wallaby might be a case of beer or something?? LMAO
