2004 Mileage Ratings are out - I did not see the GTO on it however

The Corvette is rated 18/25 with auto and 19/28 with the manual running on premium.

I would guess the GTO being heavier and less aerodynamic will probably come in at least 1-2 miles below those numbers so we might see 16-23 for the auto with an average of 19.5 or a ding of $1,700

Those getting the manual may get away with no tax

I don't think the mileage on the GTO will match the vette in either case though.

I didn't see the Bonneville either. I guess there are more coming. That would suck if the 4A had a $1,700 tax and the 6M didn't. At least for me and a few others.

On reflection I wonder if that is why we don't have MSRP yet??

Assuming your 16/23 estimate is correct for the auto - the MPG based on the federal formula (not a straight average) would be 21.79 or a $1,000 tax.

Whew you're right and if it is 17 instead of 16 you actually make the 22.68. It is not as bleak as first thought.
