 i can't believe what i was reading, i imagine that these first GTO's that arrive on your shores will open alot of peoples eyes that wouldn't normally consider pontiac, and then suddenly demand will go up exponentially.

That's good to hear from a guy that drivesa Honda. It's funny to read the rest of their posts.

It's a wonder what the "other 4" cylinders can do!

Some of these Honda boys are just finding this out! It is pretty cool though to be getting a GTO endorsment from a completely different group of gear heads!

The original poster was great...and a few guys on there know there stuff. Then there were the ones that would bash anything said and pull stuff out of their *** no matter what they knew or what was true. The "other" camp is just like some of us: some of us can't conceive of a foreign car company making a great car. As for the "domestic" guy on their w/ his LS1 f-body that couldn't conceive of driving a GM car that was slower and handled worse than his f-body....I've got news for him...it's faster and corners better. He'll be finding that out in about......47 days when he pulls up to the line w/ one.

That was an interesting read. Good to see that impressions are favorable whereevr you go.

The VT based concept car first appeared at the Sydney show in 1998 and i saw it at Holden Elizabeth in November/December 1998 when it was placed on display in the canteen for a day.

Let me get this straight, the new GTO and GM is getting more praise on a Honda site than a classic Pontiac site? What a great find and read, thank you. Glad to know I'm not crazy for arguing my point over on PY.

man that mayonaise is just annoying!! Wish I could find a GM exec that would let me take a GTO out for an hour drive!!
