: Hey! Who changed my TPW?
Goat Soldier 10-27-2003, 09:22 PM Anybody else notice their TPW has changed? Mine just mysteriously changed from 10/14 to 10/27. Yeah, yeah, its just two weeks, but I was #2 on my dealer's list and I've been on the list since June of '02 (that's 16 months) - patience is a little thin these days.
Davbo 10-27-2003, 09:28 PM Mine (and many others) changed when we moved from 3100 to 3300.
spfrjr1 10-27-2003, 09:49 PM  You think a two week change is bad? My TPW changed an ENTIRE MONTH.
Initially is was 01/02/04, now it's 02/02/04....

Yeah, I guess Americans are weird with the dates. I mean, it makes sense to go day-month-year but we prefer to go month-day-year. Go figure? :D

In my job I deal with airlines all over the world. In the U.S. we are the only ones that do MMDDYY. So we standardize on DDMMYY.

WOW look's like I am the latest "Post Whore" with a large member!!!
Davbo 10-27-2003, 10:44 PM Tails, I think you win the prize for Fastest to 250 Award. Very impressive. :D
jon_we4 10-28-2003, 08:30 AM bad or good i want to know everything thats going on over there (as does everyone else i think) ... I'd rather be informed about my car being pushed back (everyone's is anyways) than sitting twiddling my thumbs assuming it'll be here when it wont be...and then getting more mad.
we all know production was a tad backed up and they started slow. it's only common sense that some of the TPW's will back up a week or two when they go into 3300 status. as far as the month jump i'm not quite sure...it might have something to do with the vauhaull export.
Tails 10-28-2003, 09:32 AM I just love doing the math. The original production rate was to be 1800 cars a month for ten months = 18,000 cars. Actually for the first two months combined it was about 1,200 total so that put them over a month behind. Voila they had to move the schedules a month out.

How are you tracking your order. Is there a website to enter your order number?
Davbo 10-28-2003, 10:14 AM www.ls1gto.com has a gto "tracker" section where you can enter your order number.

460 were shipped on Oct 22. 760 will be shipped Nov 4-5. That equals 1200.

I have entered my order GKWQ8X but I am wondering how they get the info. Is it it some special private GM system or can the public access that system as well?
chotton 10-28-2003, 12:47 PM It's a system the dealers can access though there VOMS (vehicle order management system) computer.
