I got an invitation to this in Miami at the same time as the International Auto show in November. Should I expect a Goat to be there? Are they offering any "coupons" toward a GM purchase? Anyone been to one of these lately???

I am torn over which show to go to. I know a GTO will be at the International Auto show, but probably rotating behind velvet ropes. If I went there, I would consider bringing my dealer order and asking to sit in it.

good thought. We have the Seattle International Auto show starting Nov 5. I will bring my order and see if it gets me a closer look see.

The show in California a few months ago only had a poster of the GTO. In Cali, they offered an additional $500 off your GM Card. You can apply for one while you are there is you don't already have one and get $500 off immediately. As far as I can tell the GM card is good for the GTO.

The show California had the vette available for test drives... I took the Z06 for a spin and all I can say is that it is AAAWWWSSOMMEE!!!!!. The fastest thing I ever drove. If the GTO comes even close to that experience, it would be an incredible car.

At the Charlotte auto show, earlier this month, they had a black GTO on a turntable behind the ropes. I think they do not want you to look too closely as it is a preproduction car and may not be all there. The exhaust was bogus (single pipe to one muffler with splitters).
