I pulled off the Magnaflow cat back today and replaced it with the OE cat back,

Left the Kooks headers, and offroad pipes on, just wanted to see how it sounded.

It's still a lot better than stock, but the shift 'crackle' is still there a bit, though it's much less noticable.

Anyone have the Catted mids? does it make this noise for you too?

I like how the Kooks/Magnaflow sounded at idle, and under accell, but the 'crackle' when i shift drives me nuts.

Camaro's and Mustang's don't have this crackle, why do we?

I have the catted mid-pipes and I get the popping/crackling only when I decelerate (DFCO). I don't seem to recall this occurring when I shift. However, I wonder if your situation is related to DFCO...and not so much the fact that you are running catless, Wretched.

I get it, I just have grown to live with it, I was told that a good tune would help, but hey I'm stange and like it alittle.
