having a simple non aggressive porting improve gas milage?

It could, assuming you don't put your foot into it anymore than before. Anything that increase the flow of air in or out of the engine will improve effeciency and thus gas milliage.

100% agreed,and a tune after will help you get even better mileage

thanks for the advice, hopefully someday when i got the cash i can have it done, what is better? sending your cylinder heads to be ports or buying some companys already made?

As long as the port velocity increases and the port is not hogged out. Not the reason to go out and do head r/r.
