The last couple weeks I have noticed in the morning, and only when its below 38-40 degrees,:( when I start up the Goat, a squeeky type of squeel comes from the engine compartment, I have looked in and it seems to be most prevelent around the tensioning capston pulley for the serpitine belt, or from that area, I have had this happen on another vehicle but I can usually squirt some wd-40 in there to see if it stops, then I know what to fix, however I squirted, and it still squeels:confused: anyone else have this issue, like I said it only does it when is cold, after about 4min of idling it goes away:eek: I do not want to start taking the front of the engine apart to start trying to determine the sound causer, so as a start I thought I would ask here, Mechanic any ideas?

It sounds as if you are looking for a fix in an effort to correct an annoyance. I understand completely.
Correct me if I am wrong, but there is access to pulley side of the serpentine belt. Why not try to apply a little WD40 to this part of the belt...assuming this is not where you applied the WD40 when you used it?

I had the same issue and found that my serpentine belt was glazed. I replaced it and the sound went away. Just my $0.02 worth of advice!

Ok I went out and checked out the serpentine belt, that little turd is really tight in there, did you replace the belt yourself, I am used to having the spring loaded capston that applies pressure on the belt be able to (with a wrench) be collapsed in so the tension goes off and the belt goes free, I am having trouble figuring out how it works when I wrench the bolt on the pully wheel the capston moves but just barely, and not enough to free the belt, I am leary about trying to rotate it anymore from fear of breaking it. Is this the right way to remove the belt, and if so, how hard is it to snake a new one in there?
Thanks for anything!!!
