: Spring is coming!
Orbit Orange 03-01-2008, 08:32 AM Yep the robins that hang out/migrate to our property are back this morning. Sure sign that Spring is close. It's been a long cold February and usually they get here about a week or even 2 before this. So with all the glum news about the economy and gas prices and everything that seems to drag you down, it's nice to know that Mother Nature is bringing on the Spring.
If you haven't yet, get your Goats out of hibernation. :)
FROROCKS 03-08-2008, 04:27 PM The robins are out, but there still some snow on ground. I can almost taste it. I will wait till they clear off some of the gravel on the road before I venture out in the goat. D@mn thin paint and I already have one bulls-eye repair on the windshield.
blacksunshine400hp 03-08-2008, 05:15 PM I hope spring gets here soon, Kentucky just got ten inches of snow. (Thats kentucky for you tho, it was sixty last sunday.) PLEASE ORBIT ORANGE TELL SPRING TO COME!!!!
Orbit Orange 03-08-2008, 05:24 PM It will start warming up tomorrow. Should be in the 60's in KY Wed. or Thurs. Hang in there. We lucked out and got ZERO snow from this last storm, it all went south evidently to where you are at. Of course it is below freezing today though. The warmup is coming.

Sorry, but I think your lying. Or maybe I just need to move out of this state. It's supposed to be snowing this weekend. :( WTF?????
LS2weber 04-18-2008, 02:08 PM we might get to 85 today, but then again the photo of the GOAT in my avator was taking in the dead of winter
LA_Phantom 04-18-2008, 08:27 PM Even though we had a cold front move through here this week, Spring has been here for quite a while. While not needing to cut the grass once a week, I am at a point where I could cut every 1 1/2 weeks, but I wait for 2 to get busy.
Since I moved yesterday, I was able to shine up The Punisher for tomorrows goatogether (crawfish boil).

BRMike 04-18-2008, 08:47 PM I'm a sucker for spring/summer time. I really enjoy yard work. That's not a joke. As Phantom mentioned above, there was a cold snap earlier this week. It had a terrible effect on my lawn. I was (am) aggravated with it! I just had my grass getting nice and green. I'm also a beach bum, so that's another reason I love summer time.
Orbit Orange 04-18-2008, 09:43 PM I'd enjoy yard work more if my **** riding mower wouldn't need parts and repairs out the @$$. Eats into the mod money. Note to potential riding mower buyers DON'T buy a Yard Machine by MTD, unless you like spending most of your time fixing it. I think they are the Ford of riding mowers.
FROROCKS 04-19-2008, 02:21 PM I doubt that I will get a spring. Had one nice weekend (temps in the 60s) and now we have a threat of SNOW again! Highs this week are forecasted in the low 40s. It will probably be winter, then right into summer.

Moved? I hate moving. Are you still down south LA?
A goat get together and crawfish feast, sounds like fun.

It should have read: "Since I mowed yesterday..." I am still in the same Bat Place, same Bat Channel. ;)

P.S. We had some folks back out of the goatogehter at the last minute, but still had 13 GTO's. Believe it or not, but even the wife went and had a great time.
