Hi folks. Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Joe and I'm from the Boston area. I'm 33 and a just a hot rod nut it general. My current ride is a 79 Malibu. I came over here to get all the dirt about the new GTO. They have me all excited to say the least. I found out about this board from someone posting a link on camaroz28.com. I am a previous F-body owner as well. I had a 93 Z28 that I got bored with and decided to go old school with the Malibu. Well...I'm getting bored again. Considering buying the new Goat within a cople of years and the anticipation is killing me. Anyway, just wanted to say hi and let you know who I am. I probably lurk more than anything else. Take care.

LONG LIVE THE GREAT ONE!!!

Joe

well now, that's a bit more like it :P

Just in case none of you folks have seen it yet... A bunch of dealers are already auctionig the new Goat on ebay. I know you've seen the car itself, just want you to see this crap. They are taking bids on the "right to purchase" a new one. The winning high bid will be added to the MSRP of the vehicle. One of them is up to 6 grand already. Some retard is gonna pay 40K for one of these. Here's the link...

They don't waste any time do they!

That link you gave to the Ebay GTO is one of many that are doing that. So far the highest I've seen is 10,000 bucks plus MSRP. Did you notice that the link you gave has MSRP listed at 34-37K? We all know it's 32,495 so whoever buys that car is totally getting f^%$ed in the arse. Can't blame the dealer, I'd be raping the price too if someone was stupid enough to buy it. You can still easily preorder a GTO now.

Yes, I caught their inflated version of the MSRP as well. I hate dealers!!!
