I thought I'd get an exhaust clip or two, so I could compare from now and when I do midpipes and headers later this year. I'll post up a second clip once I trim it down. Excuse the water works, I had just washed it. And it was a coldish startup so I didn't get on it. Oh and it was windy too.

For comparison, here's a clip with my recently added JBA catted midpipes with the SLP LM1 on a warm startup with a few revs.

WOW........you need to sweep that garage!:D Sounds a lot better. But does it seem to have that poping on decel.? How does it sound from the inside while your driving?

Funny you mention it but I actually did sweep it after I made the video. Yes it does have quite a bit of pop and burble on decel. That I don't mind. It's the drone that has gotten worse from about 2K to 2.5K. Inside the car is also louder as well. The tone has changed and it sounds more "hollow" now. I'm pondering a swap over to LM2 mufflers to see if it brings the tone back down a notch and mellows out the drone a little. I'm having fun with it right now but I get this feeling I'm going to have to change something up down the road due to the drone-fest. It gets more attention now as well. But again I'm not 18 y.o. anymore either. I'll see how it goes. For now it's fun. :)

You know I always pictured you as a 50 year old man with a white beard. It must be some of those sayings you come up with.
Did you get the cattless mids? I don't remember.
As for the drone. When I put an X-pipe in the drone was horrible around 2000-2500. It lasted about a week before I took it off. I then put an H-pipe in and that was much, much better. I think some day I might just put the resonator back on.
Oh yea sounds better ;) and next time sweep the garage first. People might think you parked a Ford in there.

Funny stuff, you young whippersnappers!!!
Catted mids, and it's plenty loud with the cats, I can only imagine how loud with straight pipes. I'll see what I can do about the drone.
That Ford talk is fightin' words. ;)
