$61.50 to fill it up today. $3.89 for 93 octane. Went over the 60 buck mark for the first time. I'll probably be wishing for this by the end of the Summer. :(

Lucky you! 91 premium here in NorCal is over the $4.00 mark. One Shell station in SF has gas at 4.05/regular, 4.15/mid and 4.25 premium. Next stop, $5.00/gallon

Also in Nor Cal Chevron $4.13 for 91.

Nothing like filling up and then immediately jumping on it to smoke a Dodge Magnum to reduce the ol' fuel economy.

So have you bagged a Vette yet?

I'm waiting for someone to report a Challenger SRT8 kill soon. Can't wait for that one. :)

So when do you guys think that the price of gas will go down? What scares me most is that it has been so high for so long...now $2.50 a gallon looks awesome...where before that was unacceptably high:(

On the news this past week, analysts were talking about $200-$250 per barrel of crude this summer which translates to $5.00 and higher gas at the pump. That would be the national average for regular:eek: !!

I remember not too long ago I sh!t my pants when premium went above $3.00!

No Vettes pay any attention to me, and the only time I ever see an SRT8 is when I am driving the Nissan Xterra. :(

$70 bucks baby a new record for me. i was down to 4 miles of range left and put almost 18 gallons in it . the last gallon took a bit because i just had to get to 70 and pretty much filled the filler neck up too. Driving the goat from nebraska to massachusetts this sunday and monday. I bet ill eclipse the 70 because the prices are up since that 70 fill up. The average mpg right now is 20.8 on my A4 06.

I think we ought to get the word out for every driver in the USA to skip four or five days at the pump, then we all show up on the same day and tell em "I'll give you a buck a gallon!" Then when they say no way, just say, fine, be back tomorrow same offer. Until we all ban together nothing will happen, it will keep going up.
