i am looking for a shifter for my 05 GTO and the B&M looks like a good shifter upgrade but everyone bashes them for breaking. i thought that if you break a stainless steel beam shifting gears then chances are the shifter isnt the only thing taking a beating but...

Has anyone actually broken a B&M ripper shifter b4?

I have a B & M in mine. I like it just fine. I bought it 2nd hand...in "broken" condition. They come with **** fasteners. If you buy one, throw away all the fasteners it comes with and go buy good quality fasteners.
