Saw a beautiful GTO at a nissan dealership today. I was the blue color with silver racing stripes and said limited edition on the back (maybe special edition). This thing was flat gorgeous. I'm thinking of not waiting for a Camaro and getting this baby. Were there limited ed GTO's made? I can't seem to find any info. I guess the person had all this done aftermarket. The other difference seems to be the exhaust tips.

No limited editions other than a limited number made a specific red color toward the end of the run (no other special badging or anything.) What your describing is a regular GTO with aftermarket stripes and some "limited edition" identification to make it look special.

Don't let it deter you if the price is right though. But I have a feeling they are trying to dupe someone into buying nothing more than a overpriced fake. Any pics?

Sorry man nothing limited/special edition about that one. Except maybe the ruststang stripes. :( Also looks like the rear springs are sagging.

Doesn't bother me that's it's not special edition. I was just wondering if it was one of those theme models GM sometimes puts out. I figured it was aftermarket. I think it's a nice looking car. And it should be under warranty so I could have the springs looked at if I decide to get it. Thanks!
