It will fit and you should be around 10 rwhp. For around 1/2 you could buy some headers and make triple that.

In addition to purchasing the FAST 92mm intake, are there plans to also purchase a new, larger throttle body? It seems to be that the general consensus amongst those in the know is that the FAST intake mod is best suited for those sporting aftermarket heads (or at least stock heads that have been CNC ported) and cam. I agree with c5vette regarding the long tube headers. Of course I am assuming that you have not done a bunch of performance work on your Goat.

on a stockish car IMHO it would be a waste of money. the Volant is a bottleneck in itself. did you measure the tube down by the MAF? it's only 82mm. it doesn't do much good having a bigger bottle past the bottleneck...

I am going to put a fast intake I was thinking of a 90mm or 96mm what would be best. My car is still stock in the engine besides flowmaster exhaust mufflers in the rear.

Refer to what svede said. Without a considerable greater amount of engine mods an intake is a waste of money for the small amount of HP increase you'll see. Consider headers or a tune as your next step as many go that route. :)

it took me 5hours replacing my intake manifold and it was successful. i agree with c5vette that it should be around 10rwhp to use the volant intake..5 hours to change your intake and you awakened a 4 month old thread to tell us about it.http://i47.tinypic.com/309kf3p.gifhttp://i50.tinypic.com/6p6peq.gif

Lighten up Mr. Goodwrench. My post wasn't about mechanical expertise. It was about the fact the he's a spammer and has been banned from a couple of other sites I go to. Didn't you notice the odd syntax and the cheesy 'auto parts online' link before it was edited out?
