Impulse Blue Metallic?
Even in the close up pictures off the GM Media website it's hard to see any metallic to the Impulse Blue. Has anyone seen this color in person that can atest to the metallic. Just curious.
Can't believe I spelled metallic wrong in the title. Dumb ass enabled.

I had the Impulse Blue pilot car (the same car as in the wieck/media pics) for a day in october and to be honest I don't remember seeing any profound metallic flakes in it. I still think its a beautiful color, but I did not look real deep into the paint, if it is metallic its pretty subdued because it does not jump out at you and say "hey I'm metallic!":)
its a more pearlescant color then metallic. I dont think Impulse Blue Pearl had that catchy ring to it

I just picked up my impulse blue last month. Now that you guys mention it I don't think it has that much metallic. If anyone is curious to see just drop me your email and I'll send some pics.

FWIW, I have seen one in person and really believe that no picture can do it justice.

I agree. I took a stabb in the dark when I ordered mine. The only ones I saw was on the internet at ultimategto.com

It really has to be seen in person to be appreciated, just like the blue leather which looks awesome in person!

It may not be very metallic but it certainly is extroverted!
Think it will fade like red seems to always do?

It does get the looks and compliments.

I hope not it's such a nice interior color and so different than the run of the mill blacks, shades of gray and neutrals out there. I'm sure if parked in the sun every day in Arizona it would see fading. Garaged and cared for I'm hoping it holds up. I'd think Australian spec leather and dye would have to be pretty resistant to fade in the land down under with all that heat, sunlight and the like. Maybe a post in the Holden forum here on the site from one of our Aussie members might yield how the colored leather holds up over time. At least over there. :)
